It's called
Nepata cataria. Common name, Catmint, or Catnip.


And kitties love it.




Funny, he was very hungry after that.

Not many of these have made it out of the pot and into the garden over the past year or so. But if I did manage to plant it, someone would always find it.

ReplyDeleteAWWWWWWW! As when I first saw this post back in the summertime and now that I review it I can only think AWWWWWWWWW! How truly adorable cats are with their catnip. I know my Hooska loves the stuff; his high-quality catnip toys please him throughout the years -- but your post makes me feel like we should buy a catnip plant for him too, for some fresh stuff.
